Description

Rogan Josh is a classic Kashmiri dish from the mountainous north of the Indian subcontinent. ‘Rogan’ means oil and ‘Josh’ means passion, referring to the red colour and bold spices in this dish.

Tender, succulent mutton or lamb is slow-cooked in a rich, aromatic gravy made with a blend of Kashmiri spices. The flavors are deep, complex, and layered, with a subtle heat that lingers on the palate. The smoky flavours of Kashmiri red chilli powder, black cardamom and fennel create that distinct flavour profile.

"Very easy to make. It was very similar to your butter chicken spice kit. You could smell the spices as soon as I opened the envelope! The meat fell apart (I used diced lamb) and it was delicious.
